Grab your vinegar and baking soda volcanoes, 'cause we're having a science fair! That is, a VHS double feature that'll shatter your test tubes and put string theory to shame.
First up is MY SCIENCE PROJECT (1985). After a magical UFO time/space gizmo goes awry in autoshop, John Stockwell and Fisher Stevens (dream team) scramble to keep from destroying high school & the world! Luckily Dennis Hopper is on hand, offering sage wisdom as their hippie science teacher (of course). It's like the unkempt bastard child of 'Ghostbusters' and 'Back to the Future,' with huns!
Then, party on with BILL & TED'S EXCELLENT ADVENTURE (1989), wherein a last-ditch school project takes Wyld Stallyns Bill (Alex Winter) and Ted (some guy named Keanu) on a journey through time and space to save their grades -- and (yes) the world. George Carlin makes for a most excellent guide, and if you don't pick up on the Doctor Who references, you're just not paying attention, dude.
Make a discovery at Freddy's, with trivia, prizes, and Happy Hour chemistry till 7.
